With a penchant for deeply emotive soundscapes and melancholic tendencies, Galway’s Malcolm Lally has fast become a name to watch out for among Ireland’s diverse array of talented songwriters. He secured his radio debut with the track ‘Christmas Time (Baby Are You Mine)’, which has racked up over 100,000 streams on Spotify, and took home the first prize of the Christmas FM National Radio Competition in Ireland. He has also landed a number of final stage placements for the UK Songwriting Competition in recent years. After the success of the retro pop single CALIFORNIA, which premiered in 2020, he is preparing the release of his next track, ‘Atlantis’, which will be the second single from his upcoming debut EP.
